The two of my front teeth are kinda big. All my other teeth are very straight and are perfectly fine. It's just the two front I'm concerned about. Are braces really neccesary? Is there anything I can do besides braces?
Buck teeth?
Are they just kind of big? If so your dentist can actually shave it down a bit to match your mouth.
Talk to your dentist and He'll give you options.
Reply:Braces will not make them appear smaller. Braces only move teeth around in the arch. You can however have Porcelain Veneers made. You will need to do the four front teeth to change the size of the two centrals. This would entail making the laterals a bit larger and the centrals a bit smaller. The dentist would have to prep the teeth a bit before the new ones can be made. And for God's sake, do not have the work done by a cut rate dentist. Pick up the phone book and find a dental lab that does "Crown and Bridge", then call them for a referral. Tell them you dad was dental tech in some far away town and that he told you to call a dental lab for a referral. That should get your foot in the door. (They sometimes don't like to give referrals for fear of making someone mad at them, other dentists.)
I am a dental tech and have been for 33 years.

Buck teeth?
im 22 years old, female, getting married next summer. i have two big bucked teeth right in front and when i smile you can see my gums. which is why i never smile. im sick out it and with my wedding coming up, i want pictures where im smiling and happy. what can i do to fix this? the least painfull method is preferred.
Buck teeth?
Well if price is not an issue, it seems that money can buy you a perfect smile!
If an orthodontist can't help you, try cosmetic surgery.
I bet you're beautiful anyway.
Reply:Honey, The best thing would be to see an orthodonist!! They are ok with payment plans.
Reply:Since price is not an issue and you have your wedding coming up, you should look into having cosmetic surgery. They can fix your teeth with veneers and it isn't painful and only takes a couple of visits. Call your dentist and ask if they do this, and if they don't, ask them to refer you to someone. Make an appointment for a consultation and see what they can do for you. (People in the modeling and entertainment industry do this all the time.)
Reply:if none of these options work, you could just photoshop the picture, assuming you can get them on a digital memory card.
Reply:I would call a local orthodontist that has a good rep. I am not sure how braces would not help bucked teeth, but a orthodontist should be able to do a consult on what you can do.....maybe veneers would help....
Reply:Find a good cosmetic dentist. Veneers are probably the quickest solution.

i already had braces and took them off in 04 or something like that, but my teeth are still buck. what can i do to help them?
Buck teeth?
If you think that your two front teeth look too long either ask your dentist to add bonding onto the teeth on the sides or ....and this is hard to find a dentist that will do it....ask them to file down your front two teeth. The filing down is painful and rather abrasive. I had the bonding done and I love it!!!! It isn't expensive, doesn't hurt, takes up to an hour, and it looks great.
Also, if you're having a problem with little gaps the bonding will work for that too.
Good luck!
Reply:go thru the braces hell again?
Reply:Surgery...or braces...you choose.
there are those braces that go on you teeth and you cant even tell if they are there...i think they are called 'invisiline' or something...
Reply:go back to the orthodontist.
you may have to get braces again.
if you dont want metal on your teeth again, you should try invisalign! they are clear and removable braces!! i have them right now and nobody knows you have them!!
Reply:I think you could get those new braces thingys where they are invisible and they go on top of your teeth and you can take them on and off. Ask your orthidontist.
Reply:Talk to your dentist and they can help you come up with a plan that will work best for you.
Reply:If you're not feeling any discomfort, or really care that much about how they look, why not leave them the way they are? Buck teeth might just add to your visual personality, and be who you are. They also arn't automatically unattractive. There are many women (and men too, I suppose) who are attractive and self-confident with the buck teeth look. It's all up to you, however. Braces will probably fix it. They will most likely have you wear rubber bands for a said about of time.

Buck teeth?
ok i have buck teeth do you think it is right for people to make stupid remarks behind my back or those stupid facial expressions. And I am talking about adults not kids.
Buck teeth?
No, it's absolutely not right to make any offensive personal remark.
I am wondering if you'd like to consider having orthodontic treatment. It can be a valuable solution for many adults with the same situation like you. For example, according to the Academy of General Dentistry, about 1 million Americans and Canadians over the age of 18 are getting braces.
There are several health-related reasons for straighten up your teeth now, including:
* Protruding teeth or gaps between teeth create an uneven bite.
* Crooked or overlapping teeth are more difficult to clean.
* Problems with your jaw can cause headaches, earaches, or other problems.
Best Wishes
Reply:I hate people like that! They make me mad...If they see something they dont like, they should just mind their own business. And their adults?? Their so immature, they should know better.
Reply:No it is not right but lots of people can be very unkind. Why ask your dentist about getting these teeth taken care of?
Reply:well i do have them an i do not think it is right at all it makes me sooo madd so they can just shut up an deal with it
Reply:people just like to put other down inorder to find themself. also its a way for them to forget about their fked up life.
Reply:no its not right, the most likely have some kind of issue with their self cofidence so they make fun of others to cover up their problems...sad sad people

i've had braces but my teeth are still buck. i have a huge overbite. the top set of teeth are just so pushed out and it is so ugly..what can i do to fix it?
Buck teeth?
go see another orthodontist. they can fix it if you're willing to wear braces for longer. did you originally have 2-4 teeth surgically removed? normally, teeth only fully push in once teeth are extracted, unless the teeth were not in such an overbite to begin with. since yours are, i would suggest seeing a different orthodontist for their opinion.

Whats a good supplement for a mare...?
in heat? Its so odd my horse, I can't even tell when shes in heat. she acts normal, but my friends horse goes phsyco! she pees all the time, kicks her stall, grinds her teeth (well actually thats normal for her lol but she does it louder) she whinnies in pain, she hunches up and pushes her butt on the stall wall and always seems to be in pain :( sometimes my friend cant even ride her it gets so bad. she bucks and rears. so i know there are supplements that they can give her but what im wondering is what is the most effective? or are there any other methods?
Whats a good supplement for a mare...?
I would agree with Magic Mare and Moody Mare. Also look into Regumate. Think of it like the Depo-Provera for horses. It'll regulate her cycle and can help calm her down a bit. I'm currently giving my horse 10ccs for 10 days and have done this before on other breeding programmes. It will make her cycle a bit more predictable and easier to handle.
All those symptoms though can just be an overly-moody mare. Aside from supplements just try to keep her comfortable and happy. =)
Reply:Mare Magic is a good daily supplement for mares. It's kind of like a subtle calming agent. We have even givin it to some of our high strung geldings.
Reply:there is a product out there called moody mare. and their is a shot available to give the mare to keep her from coming in season for a few months.
Some horses are just like women, their cycles are sometimes worse than others.
Reply:I agree with giving Regumate. It's a big helper!
Just make sure that you don't get any on your hands (it's absorbed through the skin) or it will mess with your cycle too!
Reply:Vitamins , remember to give them.... also give beat pulp, keeps them healthy....
Reply:lol you should see my horse the geldings get on her um for supplements i think there one called Happy horse mare i her that works um you have to by it off the enter net

What do you think about the GIANTS on TV every week??
You know the scenario: It's Sunday, you're ready to watch some football, and invariably the Giants are on with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman calling the game.
3+ hours follow of Shockey jumping up and down on the sidelines like a little girl ...
Plexico Burress either a) hot-dogging it b) giving dirty looks with his ballcap turned sideways like some punk rapper, or c) dropping passes and blaming the refs.
Michael Strahan flashing his gap-toothed smile and running up and down the sideline looking for a camera to talk to ..
Eli Manning alternating between looking completely bewildered or ready to burst into tears - in between bad-passes, of course ..
And that idiot Tom Coughlin waddling around like the stupid prick that he is, obviously more concerned about his fat contract than managing the clock!
F-the Giants. They are as bad as the Raiders, the only difference is the Raiders have the decency to stay out of sight.
What do you think about the GIANTS on TV every week??
You are such an idiot. Way to misspell "Plaxico", by the way.
Worse than the Raiders? Really? Have the Raiders made the playoffs the last two seasons? I know that the Giants lost in the first round but THEY STILL GOT THERE. The Giants have a very good shot at making the playoffs again this year also.
Do they have problems? Of course but who doesn't? I don't like Coughlin coming back but it's a done deal now. He'll get this year at least.
So Shockey plays with some emotion? It fires the team and the fans up. Us Giant fans LOVE him. Oh yeah, his stats aren't so bad either. Take a look at them sometime.
Burress "hot-dogging it"? When? Did he give up on two interceptions? Yes and he needs to learn from that. However, he never "hot-dogged" it by showing up the other team, excessive celebrating, etc. He doesn't blame the refs for dropped passes, he usually blames Eli, which he should. Eli threw some horrible balls towards Plaxico last year. So he wears his cap sideways? So what? He's a young black man who likes hip-hop and he plays in the capital of hip-hop, New York. Let him wear his damn cap the way he wants to. He's not hurting anyone.
OK, Strahan can smile because he's one of the best DE's in the game, still. So he smiles? He's a nice guy who is a beast on the field. Get over it.
Eli needs work, I agree. His attitude needs work. I question is resiliency and I hope he can improve that. You can't get too down by momentary failure in the NFL. However, he has shown that he can be a good NFL quarterback at times. He just needs to deal with the downtimes better.
It's fine that you're a Giant hater (sorry your favorite team is bad, whoever they are) but please, get your facts (and spelling) right and make better arguments next time.
Reply:the team it shows is your regional coverage i am a skins fan so i got the directv nfl ticket its great i can watch whoever i want you should try it then you would not have to see the giants every week i see them 2 times a year and thats enough . GO SKINS
Reply:About as much as I would like to see the Arizona Cardinals on TV every week....NOT!
Reply:LMAO. I would say the Gaints are much worse than the Raiders, atleast Raider fans knew what they were going to get before the season started. Gaints fans got the shock of their life midway through the season and another at the end when Coughlin didnt get fired.
*Edit*- and then they cut the players that were not causing the ruckus.
Reply:I just so happen to be a Giants fan. and this early in the season, I dont think they are on TV enough.. THEY HAVENT DONE **** WITH FA! lets whipe out our roster and pick up a running back who will "supposively" replace one of the better RB's in the league.. Doubt it... time for a rebuilding year I think.. sure they will have their same drama as last season "ELI- TIME TO GROW UP?" i think so.. too many young mistakes.
Reply:I think it would make me puke.
Reply:Part of the reason you saw them so much is because they had a good season in 2005 and they base the feature games around the teams that did well; it also helps that New York is a large market team. Also, in the 2nd half of the year, NBC was stealing the best games so it might be coincidence that you ended up watching more Giants games than usual. Where do you live? That makes a big difference. It's not the Giants that choose to be on TV - that's the NETWORK'S DECISION.
And your Oakland comment is just stupid. The Raiders had one of the worst offensive productions years in NFL HISTORY! There is no comparison, no matter how bias you may be. Being bias doesn't mean you have to be stupid too.
