C'mon,this ying-yang outfit let go of Mark Martin,even knowing what he means to race fans.

Carl Edwards not only will keep His ride, He will more than likely, get a new bigger contract. as for Mark, nobody, let Him get away, He left on His own. it was His decision. You should know what You are talking about before, You say something that makes You look ignorant.

Reply:Sure he can, I think we all just saw many of the faults of Carl Edwards in 2006. Like on the short tracks he's a little impatient and sometimes he is driving hard as if he is trying to impress someone in "the next Racing series up". Now he needs to realize that there is no next racing and get some consistency. What hurt Edwards was the breaking up of his crew chief Bob Osborne. Team chemistry is king in NASCAR and it is one thing that is hard to get back.

Corncob Carl will stay right where he is, being the same mediocre driver that he is.

Reply:Okay, First off I don't think that Jack rousch fired Martin, he left by his own choice. He has said the last two years that he was going to retire.





Carl is a good driver, I think this year we will see him go far. his rookie year, he made the chase and was within points of winnning the cup. Last year, Rousch kept messing with his crew chief, that did not help him any.





As for Jamie- Well they can't fire him he is HOT. He really is NASCAR's sexiest driver.
Reply:Another fluke who makes me puke.You're right,if Roush really had any concern for a man,he should have held back the unproven kid and given Mark ANYTHING he wanted Jack was unwilling to put his OWN personal millions into his company,so he lured a partner onto his sinking ship, He has no understanding of the word "LOYALTY" If he truly respected Mark he would made it next to impossible for Mark to want leave.instead he proved what a greedy,soulless money-grubber he really is,look at the point standings I rest my case.

2nd, the no-talent(as you call him) Edwards is sitting in the Busch points lead and intends to win the Busch title, which I think he will all the while maintaining his full Cup schedule.
Reply:My opinion is that Carl Edwards is a fare driver if he wins he wins if he loses he loses then maybe he may or may not have a job at the end of the season you never know in Nascar. Look at a driver like Dale Jarrett he has a championship win and now he is driving for Micheal Waltrip who half the time can not make the race. When Dale has his championship to help get him into a race. which I think is how he was able to drive at California.

Reply:Jack didn't let go of Mark he retired. Carl is a great driver and once they get him with the right crew chief he will go far. He isn't the only Roush driver who had problems last year. How many Fords were actually in the top 10 in the race for the chase? I know of only two off the top of my head. All the teams had problems last year. Jamie's problems were the fact that they couldn't find him a good crew chief. The one he has now is alot like Donnie Wingo so I have all the confidence in Jamie to be in the top 12. Do we forget so fast that jamie was almost in the top 10 two years ago. He was 25 pts away. That was because of stupid Nascar taking away those points at Bristol because his back window was a centimeter to small. Jamie is a great driver and once he stays out of the wrecks he will be awesome. I can't stand Roush and never have, but Carl and Jamie are the best he has right now so I know he will stick with them. Jack wanted Jamie after his rookie season. Everyone needs to learn their facts before they start saying things they have no idea what they are talking about.
Reply:I think it was a mutual decision between both Mark and the team. As for Edwards, I guess it depends on how he does this year.

Does anyone actually SHOP at Office Depot? I went in there a year ago and it seemed like they had more NASCAR merchandise in the store than office products.
Reply:Roush racing had no part time or developmental team for Mark.So Mark went the only route he could to secure a ride on his terms.


Of the 2 Carl and Jamie look for Carl to keep his ride longer than Jamie.The chemistry for Jamie is not too good now.


Personally There should be no more than 2 teams per owner.When you have more than that some of the teams fail,this is what we are starting to see on several multi car teams.

Reply:Carl Edwards isn't going anywhere. maybe Jamie, but definetly not Carl. Who's he gonna put in the 99? Todd Kluever? I don't think so. He won 4 races 2 years ago, and he had 20 top 10s last year. Give him some time this year, and he will have the same numbers at the end of the season. and Mark wasnt released, it was his decision to leave. him and Jack had agreed upon that for at least 2 years.

Reply:mark left on his own he just wanted to run part time so he went to help out ginn racing and help the rookie driver there ,mark could have stayed and raced for jack as long as he wanted to it was his decision not jacks so dont blame jack for wanting to get his rookie driver in the #6 this year so he can start to move on without mark besides kenseth is still there you know the one that has the championship mark still dreams of having and yes carl will rebound he is a great talent that will bounce back kasey kahne done the same thing his 2nd season and then bounced back to win the most races last year
