I am looking for a vet that charges reasonable price for their services. In Ontario north of Toronto.?

I went to a vet and they wanted almost 600 bucks to clean a small dogs teeth, and citric acid for over 50 bucks. Please let me know if there are and out there.

Wow there are definately cheaper vets than that.. That's ridiculous.. You should check out the small towns.. Or vets that have a practice where they do alot of large animals but have a clinic for pets. They generally are more fair in their prices, they are used to dealing with horse people, who really don't put up with those big city vet rip offs!

Oh and if you add applecider vinegar ( Bragg from the healthfood store ) to the dog's drinking water daily, those teeth won't need to be cleaned anymore.. My 8 year old's teeth are so white and clean, no plaque or tartar at all vet thought she was 3 when we had her in there last time..
Reply:ASk at the local shelter?
Reply:I wish you luck, I live in Cumbria (GB) and the price for anything is quite disturbing.

All I can suggest is ask a local animal shelter.

Hope this helps
Reply:The Ontario Veterinary School has a teaching hospital on campus, which will probably save you on veterinary costs.
