I GOT MY LIP PIERCED YESTERDAY, i have a few questions?

okay well to start off, I took out the piercing. here's why:


the piercer was some hillbilly who seemed to be more of a tattoo artist than a piercer. so everything was going fine until I got home, which is when I noticed that the holes in my lip (with the ring in it) weren't alligned right. the outside looked fine but the inside hole seemed way too far up.


the reason why I say this, is because I've heard people say you shouldnt get lip piercings because they can damage your gums and teeth. well the inside hole was so far up it didn't even TOUCH my teeth. and I wanted to change it to a stud later on, and I could tell that if I put in a stud it would look soo crooked and slanted because of the way he pierced it.


I was so mad last night when I noticed this, I mean I have a hole in my face now and I lost 50 bucks. so I was wondering, how long should I wait before I get it repierced? I want to do it next wekend, but I don't know how long would be good. and I'm never going back to that place again. %26gt;:O!

Wait until it's totally healed to redo it unless you are going to switch sides. Many side lip piercings are actually done at a diagonal so that they don't hit your teeth, though it isn't anything drastic. When you go to get it done, make sure that you communicate your intentions with your piercer before you have it done. And make sure you go to someone reputable!
Reply:You should wait a couple weeks after your hole has filled back up.
Reply:You have to wait until it is completely healed before u get it done again...especially in the same spot. If by chance u would consider doing it on the OTHER side, u can do that...but there is already a hole there, if they try to repierce, it will only make that hole BIGGER...and u dont want that....wait about 6 weeks, then try again, or get it done in another spot

Reply:Wait for a week or two because my friend and I got ours done but the week before she tried to pierce it herself and their was scab and she said it really hurt in the same place because she got it done professionally the week after so wait or go back and get your money sry://
